Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy on purchased items, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. 

To start a return, you can contact us at dressdashza@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 35 Cardiff Road, Parkwood, 2193. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and resolve it. 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on final sale items or refund gift cards


Exchanges
Items rented from the ‘Members Collection’ (30 day rental period) are entitled to swap out one item per month. Additional item swaps will incur a restock fee of R100 per item. The item being returned should be unworn and have the tags attached to be eligible for this service. 90 day memberships are entitled to two full swap outs of all the items selected from the ‘Member’s Collection’. 

Refunds

For ‘Rented’ items (4 days rental) that aren’t suitable ie. fit or incorrect size, please notify us by email within 6 hours of receiving the items. Once we have received the item back in an unworn condition with tags attached, the rental fee will be refunded back onto your original payment method. 
For items purchased from the dressdashZA collection, we will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. 


Use of Rented Items, Damaged Items and Items Not Returned at the end of Rental and or Membership Period.

You will care for the Items while they are in your possession.

You will not alter any Items while in your possession.

You will not wash any dry clean only Items.

Items will be returned at the end of the rental and or membership period in a useable condition.

Items that are not returned or stolen while in your possession will be charged the Full Retail Value, less the rental amount and or membership fee.

Damaged items that cannot be repaired by us will be charged the Full Retail Value, less the rental amount and or membership fee. Please return damaged items at the end of your rental period and or membership period and we will attempt to repair any damage. Unfortunately we cannot rent out items to you or other users which have been damaged or altered in any way. We have the right, to be exercised in our sole discretion, to charge you the Full Retail Value of any of the Items which are (i) not returned within 5 (five) working days of the end of the Hire Period or Membership Period or (ii) damaged or intentionally altered in any way, for any reason.

You authorise dressdash to debit the card which you used to make the payment of your Rental or Membership Item for the Full Retail Value and Administrative Fees payable in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

If you fail to return the Items and have paid the Full Retail value and Administrative Fees (as may be applicable), you will own the Items.
